  1. Gorgeous roses ! .. my favorite color as well .. I hope they have a wonderful scent too ?
For some reason so many of the new roses have no scent .. it just isn't right to breed a rose with no scent.
Rose IS a scent to me.
You have just the right light and composition, it has a dream quality to it .. beautiful !

    1. I just got lucky with that pic! I used the portrait mode on my phone and snapped a few pics. The odds of me ever taking a picture that cool again are about zero!

  2. Beautiful! Is the soft orange one 'Lady Emma Hamilton' by any chance? I won a rose from David Austin at the DC Fling and chose that one but she's taking her time settling in here. I'm afraid she may be finding zone 11a inhospitable...

    1. I can't remember! I have several roses and just cut whatever blossoms looked good. I think you're probably right about the zone issue. :o(

  4. Gorgeous roses, Tammy, and I bet they smell wonderful too. I haven't actually picked any roses this year, but they will keep on slowly repeat-flowering until the frosts come. Yours should too.

    1. Japanese beetles do a lot of damage every mid-summer but the roses bounce back, especially in the fall when it cools off and starts raining. They were very fragrant!

  5. What a beautiful rose! I have never had luck with them, but they are my favorite flower. It almost looks like a peony and that color is to die for!

  8. Thank you for this. I needed to see a simple image of roses in a pretty vase with natural light. You made my day. :)

  9. Wonderful roses and hue ... The photo looks just as great when zoomed in. (Wish I had the patience and tolerance for them and all their problems.)
