Sometimes I get the itch to make something. I'm not actually that crafty or artistic but I have a knack for creating funky mosaics. I've created two large pieces for the garden - a pot and a birdbath. This page doesn't give directions on how to make them but it does link you to the posts that do.

This old metal birdbath was covered in beads and buttons and then coated with marine grade resin to prevent water damage and yellowing.

It was very easy to make.

I included charms that say 'Be Yourself'.

This wasn't hard to make, either. I assure you smashing plates is highly therapeutic,
especially if you have teenagers.

I bought the plates at the thrift store. After making the pot, I discovered some of the plates had been donated by a good friend, making the pot a true treasure.
